COME A LITTLE BIT CLOSER
It was COVID. I resigned from photographing urban life and portraits. Then, a knock on my door roused me. I peered through the peephole, revealing a bouquet of flowers. With disbelief, one stunning, soft, and sensual rose with creamy white petals survived, each day revealing more of its lustrous curves.

When I saw this flower, I immediately thought, “Oy, that’s Aunt Ethel reincarnated!” Right? Everyone has a spitfire relative (or friend, or coworker) who boisterously injects their opinion regardless of knowledge or thought of the other person’s feelings.
