BALANCING ACT
At an outdoor market in Morocco, I encountered this striking woman collecting eggs for her village, as Mahamed, our interpreter, described. Her shoulders were as strong as a bronze statue. I was amazed as she left the market quickly, balancing the eggs and then gingerly crept down the stairs and through the arched pass-through without dropping one single egg.
