Welcome

I'm Alex Smith-Michaels and I live outside of Boston, MA. My two passions in life are photography and special education. By day, I work with children with autism and various mental health challenges and by night I'm a photographer. Please see below what photography means to me. The Photography Experience

Click. Photography puts me in a meditative state of flow. I lose all touch with the outside world as I fall in love with the subject presented to me. Time ceases to exist. Snap. A photograph passionately captured and unveiled for others to experience the wonder and magic I felt in that fraction of a second. I want to share the experience with the world and preserve that feeling for eternity.
